• The Level 2 focus is the daily management of the Remedy based ticketing system and incoming phone call support and extending to L3 by troubleshooting regular problems

• Additional responsibilities require notification/escalation and coordination of tickets across shifts boundaries.

• The Level 2 engineer extending to L3 support provides entry level troubleshooting for the Services being offered.

• He or She will have the responsibility of initializing engagements with Carriers/Telcos partners for circuit testing and setting up dispatches to resolve circuit issues.

• He will be responsible for setting up Vendor engagements for hardware/software dispatches.

• He will perform incoming phone support by providing initial problem determination and escalate to a Level 3 engineer when necessary.

• This position requires good Customer Service skills while working with internal and external customers.

• Also, he/she must have the ability to follow mandated Standard Operating Procedures, process flows, and network documentation.

• It is imperative this candidate effectively coordinates and communicates with customers, vendors and all levels of management.

• Design & Development: Architect, design, and develop scalable, secure, and high-performing applications using .NET Framework, .NET Core / .NET 6+, C#, Web API, and RESTful services.

• Solution Architecture: Translate business requirements into technical designs; apply appropriate design patterns (SOLID, DDD, CQRS, Repository, Factory, Dependency Injection, etc.) and architectural styles (Microservices & Clean Architecture).

• Database Engineering: Design, develop, and optimize complex database schemas, stored procedures, functions, and packages in Oracle or PostgreSQL.

• Performance Optimization: Perform query analysis using execution plans, identify bottlenecks, tune SQL/PL-SQL queries, optimize indexes, partitioning strategies, and improve overall database and application performance.

• API Development: Build and maintain secure, versioned, and well-documented REST APIs (Swagger/OpenAPI) following industry best practices for authentication, authorization (OAuth2, JWT), and rate limiting.

• Quality Assurance: Write unit tests, integration tests (xUnit/NUnit/MSTest), and drive test automation and TDD adoption.

• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging technologies, evaluate tools/frameworks, and drive continuous improvement in engineering practices.

• Develop and maintain high-performance C, C++ applications for payment processing and transaction systems.

• Design and implement asynchronous network applications using Boost.Asio for real-time communication

• Build low-latency systems with focus on microsecond-level performance optimization

• Implement secure coding practices including input validation, encryption, authentication, and authorization mechanisms

• Conduct security-focused code reviews to identify and remediate vulnerabilities (buffer overflows, SQL injection, memory leaks.

* Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using C#, .NET 4.8, and .NET Core (8.0/10.0).

* Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices.

* Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.

* Optimize application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance improvements.

* Strong understanding of secure coding principles and industry best practices.

* Debug production issues and provide timely resolutions.

* Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database objects.

* Implement caching strategies using Redis to improve application performance.

* Work with Git for source code management and participate in code reviews.

* Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, testing, and deployment.

* Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

* Create and maintain technical documentation.
